Titan Storage policies and rules
These policies apply to every renter and keep the facility safe for tenants and staff. Questions, or see something suspicious? Call us right away at (251) 929-6464.
Safety and security
- Your gate access code is for tenant use only. Do not share it.
- Do not tailgate. Wait for the gate to close before entering your code.
- You are responsible for your guests, including any damage they cause.
- Keep children with you and supervised at all times.
- Pets must be leashed, and please clean up after them.
- Alcohol and drugs are prohibited on the premises.
- No smoking inside the units.
- The facility speed limit is 10 mph. No careless or reckless driving.
Vehicle storage
Every non-motorized vehicle needs at least two wheel chocks around its wheels while in the facility. Chocks may not be a natural material such as wood, which can mold, rot or draw insects, rodents and other wildlife. We recommend rubber chock blocks.
Insurance
The facility owner and employees do not insure tenants’ goods. Insurance is the tenant’s sole responsibility. All stored vehicles and vessels must be insured, and proof of insurance may be requested at move-in.

These items are not allowed, for your safety and the safety of other tenants, staff and the facility. Not sure about an item? Contact us before you store it.

Storage tips and tricks
First time storing an RV or boat? Follow these steps to avoid common mistakes and keep your boat, RV or car ready for the next trip.
Dump fluids and clean inside
RV prep starts on the road. Do a fluid dump at your last campsite. In any vehicle, remove food, drinks and anything else that could attract pests.
Clean the exterior
Give your vehicle or boat a good wash. Titan has a wash facility just for that. Take cleaning supplies home, since they do not store well.
Use a battery tender
Connect your batteries to a tender, also called a trickle charger, to extend battery life and start right up next time. Not using one? Remove the battery and take it with you.
Finish preventative maintenance
Set tires to the proper cold pressure. Spray-lube locks so they turn easily. Check and refresh key fluids before long storage, and never store a boat with less than a full tank.
Open ports and windows
Retract all slide outs. Leave rooftop vents open, floorboards up, doors ajar, ports and skylights open, hatches partly open, and drawers and lockers open.
Turn off appliances
Shut off propane cylinders and cover the regulators. Turn off the refrigerator and leave its door partly open. Switch off all 12 and 110 volt power and your LP gas.
Use non-wood chocks
Place a rubber or other synthetic chock behind each wheel. Skip wood, since pests can eat it.
Sort your papers
Take photos and record the VIN for insurance. Check your registration and renew it in winter so you are ready to go in spring.
Frequently asked questions
What documentation do I need to rent a space?
After your reservation is complete, we ask for a valid government-issued ID. We also reserve the right to request proof of insurance, current registration and a copy of the title.
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No. Leases run month to month and renew automatically unless you tell us otherwise. Rent for as long as you need, and no longer.
Do you offer any special rates?
Yes. We offer special rates for Military, First Responders and Teachers, reduced rates for longer-term leases, and a referral reward program for current customers. Contact our management team for current offers.
How do I make a payment?
Autopay is the simplest way. Set it up on our website with the Pay Bill button at the top of the page. You can also pay in the Titan Storage app or by calling the facility during regular business hours.
What forms of payment do you accept?
All major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. We also accept electronic checks from a checking account through ACH (Automated Clearing House).
What are the rates?
Rates depend on unit size and included features. Every price is listed openly online. Check live availability to see each unit type with its availability, price and any current offers.
When can I move in?
Right away. Our reservation and rental system is contact free. If a unit that fits your needs is available, you can rent and sign your lease online at any time. Once you sign, your access code arrives by email and you can move in day or night.
Do I need to give notice before I move out?
Yes. Leases are month to month and renew automatically at the end of each cycle, so we require 15 days notice before you move out. Submit it in the Titan Storage app, or contact management by email or phone.
Do you offer RV maintenance, cleaning or other services?
Not directly. We are building relationships with third-party providers who meet our standards, and we are happy to refer you to one. Many services can take place here at the facility. We cannot vouch for every provider, so please compare to make sure you get the best service at the best rate.
Does someone have to be in the office to let me through the gate?
No. The facility is fully automated. Current tenants have 24-hour access with their own unique access code. Prospective tenants need to contact management to get in. Schedule a tour and we will answer your questions on site.
What types of vehicles can be stored?
Any vehicle that meets our policies. Every vehicle must be insured with current registration. Boats must be on a trailer and either registered with the Coast Guard or show visible registration numbers. RVs must be in good working order with no leaks of any kind. Classic cars, motorcycles and other collectible vehicles must be insured, and owners should take steps to prevent fluid leaks.
Can I work on my vehicle inside the unit?
Regular maintenance is usually allowed if it does not disturb other tenants, make a mess or break our policies. Minor repairs that need no power tools and create no dust, sparks, heat, odors or loud noise may be allowed with permission. Major repairs, overhauls and restorations are not allowed. Special permission is at the manager’s discretion and may be revoked at any time, with or without notice.
Do I need insurance?
Yes for stored vehicles and vessels, which must carry an insurance policy. Insurance is the tenant’s responsibility. Titan Storage does not insure your vehicle or property and does not currently offer third-party insurance. Personal property coverage is the owner’s responsibility, though a homeowner’s or renter’s policy may partly cover it.
How can I report a problem with my unit?
Use the Titan Storage app. It lets you create a report and attach a photo, and it goes straight to management, who will follow up as quickly as possible. In an emergency, dial 911. If it is not life threatening, call us at (251) 929-6464 as soon as you can so we can respond fast.
Can I use a storage unit for my business?
Yes, with a few firm rules. No retail transactions on the premises without management approval. Customers are not allowed on site without management approval, and must be escorted by the tenant. No manufacturing, construction or manned office use. Any unsafe or disruptive use is grounds for lease termination and prompt eviction. Business storage can be complicated, so please contact management first.
Do you conduct auctions like other facilities?
Yes and no. It depends on what is stored in the unit and on the state laws that govern storage auctions. Our lease agreement covers this in detail. In short, we reserve the right to dispose of or sell property to recover associated expenses, damages and unpaid rent and charges.
